How can i transfer my music on my mp3 to my playstation 3 slim?

i try pluggin it through the usb but nothing happens i tried searching it but i coulnt. is it possible?How can i transfer my music on my mp3 to my playstation 3 slim?
plug in your mp3 player to your ps3 and go under ';music'; and find your ';mp3 player'; the press ';triangle';, then select ';view all folders';, the ps3 should display all the folders that is in there and just find your songs where u you put it the press ';triangle on the song that u want to copy, then select ';copy'; or ';Copy multiple files';(when u press triangle its on the very top).How can i transfer my music on my mp3 to my playstation 3 slim?
only mp3 players that use fat32 format are compatible with a ps3 . you probably have one in ntfs format .


if you do you neec to plug into a computer and copy the music to a compatible usb stick or mp3 cd then transfer or rip from disc .


sometimes a device shows up on the pa3 but the content doesn't because it isn't in a properly named folder - for that you hit triangle on a controller and then ' show all '


ps3 must be set to enable atrac and wma playback .
