How did the period 1800-1812 look if viewed through American Indian eyes?

Could the attempt of Tecumseh and the Prophet to unite western indian against American expansions have created a different dynamic in white-Indian relations? How did the period 1800-1812 look if viewed through American Indian eyes?
That's just plain creepy. How did the period 1800-1812 look if viewed through American Indian eyes?
It was a very confusing time. Tribes were split as to whether to fight or to pursue peaceful solutions. Those pursuing peace grew few in numbers around that time, and most of them lost their power within the tribes as young warriors like Tecumseh gained popularity. The problem for many was who to fight. Some tribes would not join Tecumseh since either he, or members of his alliance were ancient enemies. But, they didn't like the settlers either, so there was a lot of confusion about what to do.

At times Cherokee warriors from the south joined the Americans in battling the Indians of the west for that reason. Ohter tribes had to pick sides or pick neutrality. None of the options looked good.
