How to recover .psd photoshop files from my pen drive or hard disk?

Hi! I need to know is there any free recovery software through what I will get all .psd files though I have formatted my hard disk many times? My pen drive has those files but its not working! When I open my pen drive it shows nothing but when I recover it with Recuva I get those files but it doesnt work! I have tried APSR to recover those .psd files but got few layers thats it! You can't recover files from a formatted drive with software. Formatting erases the contents of the files (and everything else).





As far as the pen drive goes, you probably overwrote parts of those files, so they're not recoverable.
