I want to put the my blue-ray movie on my Ipod but I don't know how or if it's even possible. Is it, and if so how?Is there a way to put movies on an Ipod without buying it through itunes?
Naturally. You can put anything you have on your computer on your ipod provided you can convert it to a suitable format that the ipod can read. Mostly, i've seen ipods and iphones take MP4 format movies. they provide a good compression with quite good video and audio outputs. Two good companies come to mind. ImToo and Xilisoft. Both have a wide variety of products for Ipod and Iphone. Not sure about Bluray conversion but normal videos in AVI or MPG format can be converted to MP4 and transferred via itunes. I recall seeing Bluray converter on one of these sites but i'm not too sure as i don't use Blurays often (too damn expensive). but the basic steps are...
1. Get the movie on your computer. (faster for conversion and less chance of errors)
2. Acquire a good MP4 converter.
3. Copy the converted file to itunes
4. Sync your ipod.
5. Watch the movie on your ipod
6. Enjoy....
you can check the links in my source for further info...Is there a way to put movies on an Ipod without buying it through itunes?
If you can get it download into your computer then all you have to do is go to itunes, file, add file to library, rename it (if you want), then click open. Then just drag it into movies.
if you have the disk, i think this is only dvd, run it in your computer, go to itunes and let the movie download
