this probably seems stupid, i am on my second pg and with my first i was uncomfortable but not miserable or in alot of pain. i ended up get induced and an epidural at 3 cm. so i don't really know what its like to go into labor on your own. i know what they say wait till you can time the contractions wait till they get to 5 mins apart. i know all that but im still afraid i wont know or ill go like a thousand times. can anyone tell me what you went through and how you just ';knew'; to go to l%26amp;d. im sure im such a whimp ill go anyway but i don't want to rush if there's no need.

i just knew i didnt have any contractions or signs all day and i sat down and started getting cramping like feelings and then all of the sudden the pain was soo bad i couldnt talk right then i knew this is it.How did you know you were in labor?
I've had three kids, and all three were different. With the first I was induced. With the second, my water broke (at home thankfully!) and with my third, I had contractions for about two months. And even though some were painful, I always watched the time and checked for intensity increases which never came about. But the weird thing is, I knew the instant I had the first ';real'; contraction because it felt extremely different than the ones I'd been having. It actually woke me up around 5:30 am it was so painful. And they started like clockwork every 5 minutes and hurt more when I moved.
Just remember to relax and trust your instincts. When in doubt, call your doctor.

My iPod froze on a particular song this morning whilst plugged into my iStation and now I can't get it to do anything at all. It won't scroll back through the menu and won't turn off.

How old is too old to hide your religion and your personality from your family?
I'm 24. I'm about to graduate college, and my immediate family are all coming into town to see me for the celebration.
My family is very conservative and very -very- Christian. I am not. As soon as I moved away from them, I was finally able to live the life I wanted in the open and unabashedly. My room has an altar to my god, and is else wise generally decorated in ways they would not approve.
They'll be here in about a week, and as I was preparing I found myself starting to go through the usual ritual of hiding all of my religious paraphernalia and the odds and ends they would find displeasing, and I stopped. I'm a grown woman. Why am I still doing this?
What do you think? How old is too old to play these games with the people who raised and fed you for 18 years?
Oh, and if your only answer is going to be ';You should be a Christian, heathen, Jesus loves you,'; or something similar, save it. Please. That's great that you're happy being who you are, but I don't give half a s***t, and I'm not going to convert.How old is too old to hide your religion and your personality from your family?
My mom ';came out'; about her choice in religion (Unitarian Universalism) to her parents and brothers at the end of when she was in college. We still don't openly talk about our differences when visiting my moms side of the family. They are extremely conservative methodists and her and my dad are pretty liberal. I think it is different for every person though. I know some peoples families would actually cut off contact. I think what you should base it on is what your comfortable with. If you think they will freak and disown you, it might be worth it to hide it, or maybe it isn't. There really isn't a certain age that is too old to be hiding stuff from your family. How do you play fake mommy and wife to make everyone else happy?
so i was told by my childs counselor that i need to give up on wanting my 7 and almost 6 year old to clean up after their self with their toys. and I need to let it go that my house has toys that have small pieces that my 10 month old daughter can choke on.
i need to not tell my son he is being bad and i need to have fun time with my kids and them not have to paick up the toys and games after wards. I need to clean up after everyone instead. I need to not nag at my husband for ever spending time with our kids and me since he is always working and sleeping. I was pretty much told that I need to not be irritated that I have defiant kids that dont have any since of cleanliness and I just just be fine with it. so how do i pull this off for the rest of my life?

how do I act happy 24:7 with out showing that I am truely miserable?

Kids: With advance warning so they know whats expected %26amp; consequences: Toys with little pieces are palyed with in their bedroom wher younger child isnt allowed unsupervised. Any toy/pieces left in the lounge room etc are removed , put them in a box %26amp; return them after a week. If it happens again confiscated for 2 weeks , 3rd time theyre off to charity. Stick to it you'll donate maybe twice..
Bedroom , if I can close the door I will through the week. Come weekend you WILL clean it before going to friends houses etc. Clothes not put out to wash will not be washed. They WILL take plates from the table to be washed %26amp; wash them (or load washer)
If your son is misbehaving he needs to be pulled up on it, better now that at 14yo ( I have one of them, very trying sometimes).I dont know that telling him 'he' is bad is productive. We always called the 'action' bad. I m sure he is a good child, just makes some bad choices. Explain to him whats not acceptable and why. It is bad when you do this because this could happen, or that was a bad decission/choice because... Just remember he is a child %26amp; doesnt have your thought processes, so will not always see what you think is glairingly obvious. Choose your battles if its little %26amp; has its own consequences (that of course wont see him to hospital) ask him not to do it because... if he doesnt listen let him find out the hard way. I found with my boy when I spoke they often heard '; no no no blah blah blah'; the above actually seems to translate my words into boy speak!
Growing up in an all girl home I never listened %26amp; thought it was a cop out when people told me boys are different to girls. Then I had 2 and hmmmm I owe some apologies for assumtions past made. My boys will totally subconsiouslstep over an errant toy, ask them to pick it up %26amp; they say what?, ';that toy';, where? My daughter can spot a crumb on the floor from the next room!
I used to totally stress over what youre describing. I learnt to allocate responsibility.If Im doing something for the family %26amp; Hubbys watching TV the kids will walk past Dad to come to me for help. I ask what Dads doing %26amp; send them to him, he often (always) says what did Mum say, My reply , Im busy doing this could you help please Daddy. Then Im not the bad guy for saying no (again), Im not trying to do everything %26amp; Hubby becomes more involved by default.
Talk to your Husband too explain how youre feeling %26amp; how its impacting your familys relationships. Ive had mine tell me to just relax its not that bad. He also works 14 hr weekdays %26amp; most Sats on admin at home so doent see most of it just a frazzled stressed out me screaming on weekends. He started to realise It was that big a deal when I stopped killing myself to do everything. His office a mess oh well, he did it, his area, he now fixes it. Didnt you get blahhh from the shops for me today? No sorry I did ABCDEF instead, I'll try to make it tomorrow but I DO need to do ABC as well.
When you move yourself up the priority list the others will notice and respect it. You just need to do it productivly. If help is recieved reward it with your time %26amp; praise. If they dont help when they ask for (incidental) help or to play let them know, sorry Id like to but I need to ..... because no one else did.
Imprortantly DO make time to play with them. Our children ARE our work, not the cause of or interuption to it. Accept that you have a home that isnt always going to look like its a magazine shoot, be rewarded by the smiles that COULD be.
You can not change other people, just your reactions to them. It takes time %26amp; practice but it makes your world a happier place.

Mine would be getting called to the bathroom to put it on. They will protest that it would have been easier for you to do it but remind them had they done it 1st you wouldnt have needed to %26amp; your task was interupted because of it, so you interupted them. They tend to remember better when you dont pick up the slack %26amp; they are inconvenianced.
Try an end of day packup. I work on 5pm toy pickup , 5:30 baths start, 6dinner ,7 dishes ,7:30 family board game or tv or individual QUIET activity, 8pm 1st one off to bed, other tv or reading til their respective bedtimes. This isnt run to the minute but everyone knows baths start at 5:30 or dinner is late etc %26amp; its their leisure time thats cut back because bedtimes rarely shift.
If the toys are in their room, I agree with Hubby, just close the door %26amp; sigh there are bigger battles to fight. Toy collections really start to thin out around 8-9yo so youre in the home straight now Ma.How do you play fake mommy and wife to make everyone else happy?
what i think you need to do is get your child a new counselor! that is ridicules, the counselor is basically telling you to roll over and be a doormat and let you children run to house...yea..that's really gonna fix things :S

Your children need to be cleaning up after them self. My children are 5 and 3 they clean up after them self.... I am a pre-k teacher and that is a self help skill that the children have to learn is clean up after them self. My children know that if they dont clean up after them self or they dont play. They will just sit on the couch or go out side... My children learn to clean up after them selves at 2. We still help my son a little, but he does most by him self.
Seriously, time for a new counselor. You should NOT have to pretend to be happy to make everyone else happy.
You should also get a counselor for yourself to help you overcome some of this. You are at risk of being depresed (if you are not already--I would be in your situation). You also might need to find some compromises to make family life work for you. You are not a servant to your husband and children, and you should not be expected to be such. Being a mom is hard work, but we serve out of love. AND you are doing a good thing teaching children responsibility. You may also want to take your husband to counseling so you can talk with him about how you feel, and address the ';always working and sleeping'; issue you are having. Perhaps he sees things differently.
You should definitely have fun with your kids. You can do things outdoors that don't need to be picked up. And if they want to do something that DOES have to be picked up, set the rule that they will be picking up with you right after you are done.
Try picking your battles with your children. i.e. they can have their rooms any way they want, and they don't have to pick up except like once a month (or twice a month...just for sanitary issues), BUT they must keep their doors shut, and they cannot have the baby in their rooms. Shared spaces in the house MUST be kept picked up. Just let them know that if you have to pick up their things, you will throw them away.
You will just have to find what works for you...and it will be a process. Good luck.

I don't have children myself, and I am in no way a child expert, but I have worked with a lot of kids. I watch a lot of Dr. Oz, haha.
There is one thing this person said that I agree with, telling kids they are ';bad';. I don't think this is a productive way of teaching kids what is right and wrong. They need to know what happens when they do something wrong, their consequences, and what happens when they do something right, the rewards. They also need to understand that everyone in the household needs to work together to have a happy (and clean) environment. It doesn't matter how old a child is! They could be one or ten years old, it's never too late to start working on behavior and the responsibilities they should have. It might seem like a lot of hard work and effort to make changes now, but of course they will take time, but you won't regret it. Try things like creating a schedule for each individual child. Kids like to show they can do things by themselves, and they are proud when they can show ';Look what I did all by myself!'; Create a list of things to do right when they wake up...Step 1.) Eat breakfast Step 2.) Brush teeth....etc etc. Whatever you do in your day. Having a routine is very important, consistency. Whenever they do something right they get a sticker next to the sctivity, and if they do everything in a day, or everything in a week, your choice, they get something they really want (YOUR choice) like a family movie night they pick out, or some dessert. This is all up to you. When they don't do what they're told or don't complete a task, you need to make sure you follow through with a punishment. In my opinion, this should never be something like a spanking or physical. More like a time out using a timer, or something else that teaches them why what they did was wrong, and give another try.
You, your husband, and all your children need to work together to create a happy environment in your home, so EVERYONE can be happy (including YOU!!)

Growing up in an all girl home I never listened %26amp; thought it was a cop out when people told me boys are different to girls. Then I had 2 and hmmmm I owe some apologies for assumtions past made. My boys will totally subconsiouslstep over an errant toy, ask them to pick it up %26amp; they say what?, ';that toy';, where? My daughter can spot a crumb on the floor from the next room!
I used to totally stress over what youre describing. I learnt to allocate responsibility.If Im doing something for the family %26amp; Hubbys watching TV the kids will walk past Dad to come to me for help. I ask what Dads doing %26amp; send them to him, he often (always) says what did Mum say, My reply , Im busy doing this could you help please Daddy. Then Im not the bad guy for saying no (again), Im not trying to do everything %26amp; Hubby becomes more involved by default.
Talk to your Husband too explain how youre feeling %26amp; how its impacting your familys relationships. Ive had mine tell me to just relax its not that bad. He also works 14 hr weekdays %26amp; most Sats on admin at home so doent see most of it just a frazzled stressed out me screaming on weekends. He started to realise It was that big a deal when I stopped killing myself to do everything. His office a mess oh well, he did it, his area, he now fixes it. Didnt you get blahhh from the shops for me today? No sorry I did ABCDEF instead, I'll try to make it tomorrow but I DO need to do ABC as well.
When you move yourself up the priority list the others will notice and respect it. You just need to do it productivly. If help is recieved reward it with your time %26amp; praise. If they dont help when they ask for (incidental) help or to play let them know, sorry Id like to but I need to ..... because no one else did.
Imprortantly DO make time to play with them. Our children ARE our work, not the cause of or interuption to it. Accept that you have a home that isnt always going to look like its a magazine shoot, be rewarded by the smiles that COULD be.
You can not change other people, just your reactions to them. It takes time %26amp; practice but it makes your world a happier place.

Mine would be getting called to the bathroom to put it on. They will protest that it would have been easier for you to do it but remind them had they done it 1st you wouldnt have needed to %26amp; your task was interupted because of it, so you interupted them. They tend to remember better when you dont pick up the slack %26amp; they are inconvenianced.
Try an end of day packup. I work on 5pm toy pickup , 5:30 baths start, 6dinner ,7 dishes ,7:30 family board game or tv or individual QUIET activity, 8pm 1st one off to bed, other tv or reading til their respective bedtimes. This isnt run to the minute but everyone knows baths start at 5:30 or dinner is late etc %26amp; its their leisure time thats cut back because bedtimes rarely shift.
If the toys are in their room, I agree with Hubby, just close the door %26amp; sigh there are bigger battles to fight. Toy collections really start to thin out around 8-9yo so youre in the home straight now Ma.How do you play fake mommy and wife to make everyone else happy?
what i think you need to do is get your child a new counselor! that is ridicules, the counselor is basically telling you to roll over and be a doormat and let you children run to house...yea..that's really gonna fix things :S

Your children need to be cleaning up after them self. My children are 5 and 3 they clean up after them self.... I am a pre-k teacher and that is a self help skill that the children have to learn is clean up after them self. My children know that if they dont clean up after them self or they dont play. They will just sit on the couch or go out side... My children learn to clean up after them selves at 2. We still help my son a little, but he does most by him self.
Seriously, time for a new counselor. You should NOT have to pretend to be happy to make everyone else happy.
You should also get a counselor for yourself to help you overcome some of this. You are at risk of being depresed (if you are not already--I would be in your situation). You also might need to find some compromises to make family life work for you. You are not a servant to your husband and children, and you should not be expected to be such. Being a mom is hard work, but we serve out of love. AND you are doing a good thing teaching children responsibility. You may also want to take your husband to counseling so you can talk with him about how you feel, and address the ';always working and sleeping'; issue you are having. Perhaps he sees things differently.
You should definitely have fun with your kids. You can do things outdoors that don't need to be picked up. And if they want to do something that DOES have to be picked up, set the rule that they will be picking up with you right after you are done.
Try picking your battles with your children. i.e. they can have their rooms any way they want, and they don't have to pick up except like once a month (or twice a month...just for sanitary issues), BUT they must keep their doors shut, and they cannot have the baby in their rooms. Shared spaces in the house MUST be kept picked up. Just let them know that if you have to pick up their things, you will throw them away.
You will just have to find what works for you...and it will be a process. Good luck.

I don't have children myself, and I am in no way a child expert, but I have worked with a lot of kids. I watch a lot of Dr. Oz, haha.
There is one thing this person said that I agree with, telling kids they are ';bad';. I don't think this is a productive way of teaching kids what is right and wrong. They need to know what happens when they do something wrong, their consequences, and what happens when they do something right, the rewards. They also need to understand that everyone in the household needs to work together to have a happy (and clean) environment. It doesn't matter how old a child is! They could be one or ten years old, it's never too late to start working on behavior and the responsibilities they should have. It might seem like a lot of hard work and effort to make changes now, but of course they will take time, but you won't regret it. Try things like creating a schedule for each individual child. Kids like to show they can do things by themselves, and they are proud when they can show ';Look what I did all by myself!'; Create a list of things to do right when they wake up...Step 1.) Eat breakfast Step 2.) Brush teeth....etc etc. Whatever you do in your day. Having a routine is very important, consistency. Whenever they do something right they get a sticker next to the sctivity, and if they do everything in a day, or everything in a week, your choice, they get something they really want (YOUR choice) like a family movie night they pick out, or some dessert. This is all up to you. When they don't do what they're told or don't complete a task, you need to make sure you follow through with a punishment. In my opinion, this should never be something like a spanking or physical. More like a time out using a timer, or something else that teaches them why what they did was wrong, and give another try.
You, your husband, and all your children need to work together to create a happy environment in your home, so EVERYONE can be happy (including YOU!!)

I want a specific car model of a specific company from a range of years (2004 through 2006, any one is fine with me) - features and options are immaterial (I will get them updated later if they are not there). Based on this requirement, I can't find any car dealer (at least from yahoo autos) in my city/state offering me a used car of my choice. But I can find a couple of them in different states (I am from CA, I found matching cars meeting my choice and requirements and costs in NY, OH for instance).
My question is: how can I arrange to buy cars from different states? I want them to be inspected first before buying them (so I plan to have my car mechanic physically and personally inspect the car before I commit to buy). Is it possible? Are there car dealers spanning across states that can help bring cars to my city and I (and my car mechanic) inspect it and then proceed to buy it - it can also happen I don't like it and reject the deal. Who will pay for bringing the car to my city and take it back if I dont like it? How much will cost me extra?

It's through Jesus. The ';good deeds'; is Christ being shown through us. They don't save us but if a christian isn't showing sacrificial love, I question how much they really want to be like Christ.
It's about doing good deeds. It has nothing to do with Jesus.
Believe that you have sinned and need repentance. Believe that God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on earth for your sins and rose from the dead to fulfill prophecy. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, everything He did couldn't be credible. If you believe you need to repent and need Jesus, you will be saved.

I hope you're not making fun and actually want an answer. It isn't about good deeds, anybody can do good deeds without being good people. It's about accepting Jesus as your savior and letting yourself become engulfed in a relationship with h\Him.
It's about accepting Jesus Christ into your life and following God. When you become a Christian, God helps you evolve so you feel more like doing good deeds. Know that God can help you live a better life. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. I hope you're not making fun and actually want an answer. It isn't about good deeds, anybody can do good deeds without being good people. It's about accepting Jesus as your savior and letting yourself become engulfed in a relationship with h\Him.

How to convince parents?
Alright so I asked this like a month ago and didn't get good enough answers so i am going to ask again. For the past 5 months I have been dating an Asian (i am a male by the way) who's parents don't believe in dating because they think that she will just have sex with the guy and he will break up with her once her gets what he wants, aka i will dump her once i get what i want from her. But quite frankly, I don't care about sex or sexual activities.
They recently found out we were dating and told her she dis honored the family and their ancestors. They are making her chose between me and them. She is now under a lot of pressure and very confused. She was balling her eyes out all day today and the next time we talk she is going to ask me what i think she should do. I am going to be honest, I have no idea, usually i just tell her to follow her heart and do what she feels is right but that won't work this time. I want to give her good advice on how to handle this situation. She doesn't want to lose her parent's respect and trust but she also doesn't want to lose me.

How do you get rid of Digital Protection?
I never downloaded it, it just popped up ever since i got a trojan virus on my computer. I have gone through the add and remove process on controll panel but, Digital Protection is still there. I need to get rid of it because it is blocking Nortan internet security virus and wont let Nortan scan the virus please help i have no idea how to delete it.How do you get rid of Digital Protection?

Some people choose to give the original to the executor and put the copy with instructions on how to reach the executor in their fire-proof safe. I'd say when they get to high school because they should be behaving more responsibly by then. Everyone matures at different rates of course and just because mom or dad stops telling them when to do those things, does not mean that they wont need help/ instructions some of the time. Growing up is scary for the child/teen and for the mom/dad. I might suggest buying them an alarm clock for waking up in the morning, it's always helped me and it's nice to wake up to your favorite radio station in the morning. Good luck!

Some people believe that when their children are still living at their parent's home, even when they are adults, the parents have the right to monitor their way of life.
If this is your case, try to do your homework before being asked, to keep your bedroom clean, to take a shower, etc, until they get to trust you more.

:)and I think it depends on your child's personality. My child is 10 and i usually have to remind him to take a shower. Hopefully that'll change when he starts having crushes!

The parents should remain the parents until the child is ready to leave and pay for their own rent, apartment, food, clothing, bills, etc. As long as you live in your parent's home and depend on your parents for your food, clothing, bills, etc...then you need to abide by the rules and obey your parents. How much power would I lose running passive subwoofers through my front channel? I have a Sony STDRH700 Receiver that 105 watts x 7 channels, at 8 ohms; two NXG NX-W8SUB passive in-wall subwoofers that are 150 watts, 8 ohms; and two 150 watt 8 ohm in-wall front speakers. I would run the front channels out to an impedence matching 150 watt volume control, and then out of the volume control to the pair of passive subs and then through the subs to the front speakers.
Let me know what you think. Will I absolutely need an additional amplifier or any other gadgets? Is the volume control gonna actually improve anything? Im not looking to blow anyone away with this system, just to have enough bass to make movies and sports sound good in my family room thats 12' x 15'. 3:- We feel devotion to God with the smell %26amp; taste of Sacred Prasad ( eatable).
4:- We feel devotion to God with the touch of Holy River while having holy dip in it .
You must be aware that both sound and light energy emanating from certain source like an object , vocal chord or an instrument create sensation in our ear and eye respectively and create inner feelings .
With certain specific sound names and visuals these feelings may be towards God , then why oppose images from idols ?
I wish to add some words in this regard.
Actually those talking bad about idol worship are misled %26amp; misguided people using only ';one sense (hear sense) i.e. quarter sense'; to feel about God as against using all ';five senses i.e. full sense';.
Those talking bad about idols( misguided %26amp; misled) also oppose strongly %26amp; ridicule the fact that all forms of energy %26amp; matter are various forms of one God himself. All of them oppose proudly %26amp; spread misconception about our idol worship . Many of we Hindus have been influenced by them %26amp; do not have full faith %26amp; do worship half hearted.
I request you also think about logics in support of idol worship of God and remove the misconceptions, half truths etc spread by ';quarter sensed worshippers';.
One more fact, these quarter sensed worshippers propogate God's worship through one sense only (i.e. hear sense). that is why today in the world we can just hear goodness everywhere . We dont see , taste, smell ,touch goodness in the world.
If we worship %26amp; feel about God through all senses, then God will send his all blessings to us.
Even non believers feel about God on viewing idols of God ,though in negative way.

We Christians go by the Bible. It tells me that idols are only wood and stone. They can't think, hear, speak, or do anything for people. We are not to make any graven images, bow down, or worship them. We are to worship the Lord God alone. Go do some non-Evangelical reading before you type more on the subject of idol worship. Hindus don't worship the image before them, we pray to God using the idol only as a way to focus our minds.
Our loyalties lie with the omnipotent and impersonal being you only know as God. Our God does not have fits of rage or favor one group of people over another. I'm tired of the brainless banter of so many Evangelical Christians. You can say these things but when you come against someone who knows what they're talking about you have no choice but to keep going back to the points that have already been proven wrong.
1:-We Hindus feel devotion to God on hearing word names like ';OM , Parmatma , Par Brahm ';, etc.
2:- We feel devotion to God on seeing visuals ( images) like '; Three Eyed , Four Handed , Eight Handed, Glow of Sun %26amp; Fire ';.
3:- We feel devotion to God with the smell %26amp; taste of Sacred Prasad ( eatable).
4:- We feel devotion to God with the touch of Holy River while having holy dip in it .
You must be aware that both sound and light energy emanating from certain source like an object , vocal chord or an instrument create sensation in our ear and eye respectively and create inner feelings .
With certain specific sound names and visuals these feelings may be towards God , then why oppose images from idols ?
I wish to add some words in this regard.
Actually those talking bad about idol worship are misled %26amp; misguided people using only ';one sense (hear sense) i.e. quarter sense'; to feel about God as against using all ';five senses i.e. full sense';.
Those talking bad about idols( misguided %26amp; misled) also oppose strongly %26amp; ridicule the fact that all forms of energy %26amp; matter are various forms of one God himself. All of them oppose proudly %26amp; spread misconception about our idol worship . Many of we Hindus have been influenced by them %26amp; do not have full faith %26amp; do worship half hearted.
I request you also think about logics in support of idol worship of God and remove the misconceptions, half truths etc spread by ';quarter sensed worshippers';.
One more fact, these quarter sensed worshippers propogate God's worship through one sense only (i.e. hear sense). that is why today in the world we can just hear goodness everywhere . We dont see , taste, smell ,touch goodness in the world.
If we worship %26amp; feel about God through all senses, then God will send his all blessings to us.
Even non believers feel about God on viewing idols of God ,though in negative way.
You see Eight Handed form is beautiful small representation of God's manifestation in the form of Apera Parakrity( eight type i.e. earth, water, fire ,air ,sky, mind ,intelligence and sense of feeling separate from universe) and Pera Prakrity ( spritual energy i.e. innumerable living entities). Here eight hands represent apera prakrity and lion represents pera prakrity.
Kindly ..... Please... one should never talk bad against worshipping God through idols . In this way one should not invite wrath of God and then long lasting hell.

We Christians go by the Bible. It tells me that idols are only wood and stone. They can't think, hear, speak, or do anything for people. Go do some non-Evangelical reading before you type more on the subject of idol worship. Hindus don't worship the image before them, we pray to God using the idol only as a way to focus our minds.

How to lower/deepen voice through relaxing larynx and voice voice box ?
Every morning or at least, almost every morning I wake up, I find my self having a very rich, deep sounding voice.
But as the day goes by, it goes away. The first 15 minutes at the very minimum remains deep. And it remains that away up to maximum of 2 hours. The reason it's like that in the morning is because the vocal chords are relaxed straight after I wake up therefore creating a good rich sound.
But how can I keep it that way. Do any of you's know any vocal exercise or anything that loosens and relaxes the larynx completely. And please don't say accept nature and be happy with the voice you got. Don't say that because I know I can get a deep voice. It happens almost every morning. But I don't know how to keep it that way. For everything, practise makes perfect. And I'm pretty sure, just like anything else, be it sport or job. I can train my voice to get it deeper
So can someone please give me methods on relaxing and lowering my voice.

You can also achieve that by not talking. If I'm going to record something and I need a low range for it, I purposefully don't talk until after the recording sesson. I'm a songwriter I record my own demos and often sing 5 part harmony on five seperate tracks all by myself. It also helps for those really low and really high notes to use an electronic voice correction system. There are several on the market today and you should go play with a few of them and see what they can do for you. I can even make myself sound an octave higher or an octave lower using electronic voice correction. If you're not singing and you just want that low voice for pickin up girls (works really good for that too) then the electronic voice correction won't help you. You could try yawning. That is a natural means of relaxing but, I have no experience with that lowering your voice. Never tried it for that purpose. I wouldn't do that in front of the girls either. I'm not so sure it's just a matter of relaxing the vocal chords either. I think that in my case, since I've had post nasal drip all my life that my vocal cords are coated in the morning and since they are a little thicker than normal, my voice sounds lower. But, that is just a theory, I'm not sure that is a scientific fact. You can also just think low. When I need to belt out a low sounding note, I can usually do it. It's easier to sing it than speak it though.

So my twin brother (techniqually he's older) just went though a really rough breakup with a girl he had been dating for almost 3 years. So now my usually outgoing, happy brother is miserable, and I want to comfort him through this. Any advice on how to do so? We are extremely close, but I don't want to say the wrong thing.

She was not my cat to train and never seemed to want to use a litter box, the way her sister has always done. I had to remove them from their home in an apartment upstairs and was able, with the help of Feliway, to get her to use side-by-side litter boxes, one with just paper, since I thought she must hate litter. She also loves to go in a little-used hallway, but I had that blocked off. We had to rip out all carpeting in the apartment and have gone through so much to retrain her; now it is time to reintroduce her to the apartment and she went right for the tub.How do I untrain a cat who loves to poop in bath tubs?

How did your toddler transition to sleeping without a diaper?
My 2 1/2 year old daughter has been potty trained during waking hours for several weeks now, but I always put a pad under her for nap time and in the car (in case she falls asleep). And she still wears a night diaper as well.
Occasionally she wakes up dry after her naps. And in the last few days, she has emphatically removed any pad that I tried to put down for nap or in the car. Since she is insistent that she doesn't need/want the pad, I have decided to follow her lead on this - but I braced myself for a mess to clean up. To my surprise, she has consistently awakened dry for the past few days.
Did your toddler transition themselves to 'no diaper/pad' for naps? Or did you do anything to aid in that transition? How soon after did your toddler also stay dry through the night? My older son didn't take naps by the time he was potty trained (he gave up naps at 11 months old and was day time potty trained by 12 months old).
I started putting my older son in underwear to sleep when he woke up dry for an entire month straight. He really wanted to wear underwear to bed starting a few days before that but i told him not til he kept himself dry during the night for at least a month, and so i think it was both of us who did the transition, he wanted it and i made sure we'd be more likely to suceed by waiting til he was dry for a long time. And he's only had an accident at night, 1 time and it was when he was sick. He is now nearly 23 months old (will be on May 3rd).

We waited until they were consistently waking up with dry pull-ups (training diapers). For the kids I cared for, they were both nearly four when this happened. Of course, we did our best to facilitate their progress by making sure they used the toilet before going to bed, but the kids were pretty resistant to letting go of the pull-ups, and no attention was given to their potty needs before I arrived at 8:00 AM, so it just took longer. (Some kids pee in the morning, not wanting to get out of bed, rather than actually peeing in their sleep.)
Your daughter is doing great by the sound of it. If she likes wearing her big-girl panties, and is staying dry, that's perfect. Just make sure you use a waterproof cover for her mattress. You were probably doing this to protect from diaper leaks before potty training started, though.
Once my daughter started potty training I never put a diaper back on her - for sleep AND going out she was in panties. She had 1 acccident at night , no biggie just washed the bedding. At first I made sure she peed before we left the house and before nap/bed time. She did well and didnt need protection just in case. MY daughter decided it was time to use the potty at 20 months and from that day and night foward she was potty trained. If your daughter is waking consistantly dry let her be! Just ask her to go to the potty before she sleeps and she should be ok. Oh and in the beginning I limited her water intake like 2 hours before bed, I still kinda do but shes totally fine now.

We noticed that she woke up dry first for naps and then for bedtime. So we used undies at naptime. And all went well. Then we used undies at bedtime and that went fine too. It seems she knew what she was ready for. And I was shocked when about three months ago, she showed up in my room at night telling me she had to go downstairs to potty (we don't have a bathroom upstairs). So I guess she has the sense of when she has to go potty even at night. Let your daughter have a little bit of rein. It sounds like you are following her lead and continue to do so, unless of course she backslides. Then calmly retrace your steps and wait for her to be ready again. Congrats!! It is so exciting to get rid of diapers once and for all (well, with one kid anyway...we have two more in them right now!)
My daughter is now 3. I used to put a diaper on her every time she napped and at night and she would we them every night. I ran out of the pullups one night and just said ';screw it';, if she has an accident I'll just clean it up. The next morning she woke up dry! I thought it was just a fluke so I tried it again at nap time and the next few nights. She stayed dry!! Whenever I put a diaper on her at night she WILL wet it but when she wears panties she stays dry. Sounds like our kiddos are the same!

She would automatically wake up, go to the bathroom and then come back to sleep. It also helped because her room lead into the bathroom and we kept that light on all night.
As far as the no diaper during nap, she never wet herself during the day. I just made her go to the bathroom before she went down and as soon as she got up. She only napped for an hour or maybe 1 1/2 hours. Maybe if you shorten her nap if she sleeps very long. Also my daughter would get treats like stickers or a sucker if she did not wet herself so she tried very hard to get them. Maybe that can work for you if you are not already doing it. Occasionally she wakes up dry after her naps. And in the last few days, she has emphatically removed any pad that I tried to put down for nap or in the car. My older son didn't take naps by the time he was potty trained (he gave up naps at 11 months old and was day time potty trained by 12 months old).
I started putting my older son in underwear to sleep when he woke up dry for an entire month straight. He really wanted to wear underwear to bed starting a few days before that but i told him not til he kept himself dry during the night for at least a month, and so i think it was both of us who did the transition, he wanted it and i made sure we'd be more likely to suceed by waiting til he was dry for a long time. And he's only had an accident at night, 1 time and it was when he was sick. He is now nearly 23 months old (will be on May 3rd).

We waited until they were consistently waking up with dry pull-ups (training diapers). For the kids I cared for, they were both nearly four when this happened. Of course, we did our best to facilitate their progress by making sure they used the toilet before going to bed, but the kids were pretty resistant to letting go of the pull-ups, and no attention was given to their potty needs before I arrived at 8:00 AM, so it just took longer. (Some kids pee in the morning, not wanting to get out of bed, rather than actually peeing in their sleep.)
Your daughter is doing great by the sound of it. If she likes wearing her big-girl panties, and is staying dry, that's perfect. Just make sure you use a waterproof cover for her mattress. You were probably doing this to protect from diaper leaks before potty training started, though.
Once my daughter started potty training I never put a diaper back on her - for sleep AND going out she was in panties. She had 1 acccident at night , no biggie just washed the bedding. At first I made sure she peed before we left the house and before nap/bed time. She did well and didnt need protection just in case. MY daughter decided it was time to use the potty at 20 months and from that day and night foward she was potty trained. If your daughter is waking consistantly dry let her be! Just ask her to go to the potty before she sleeps and she should be ok. Oh and in the beginning I limited her water intake like 2 hours before bed, I still kinda do but shes totally fine now.
My daughter did it herself. She didn't fully train during the days until a little after age 3 and we were careful about having a pull-up on her for naps and bedtime. We noticed that she woke up dry first for naps and then for bedtime. So we used undies at naptime. And all went well. Then we used undies at bedtime and that went fine too. It seems she knew what she was ready for. And I was shocked when about three months ago, she showed up in my room at night telling me she had to go downstairs to potty (we don't have a bathroom upstairs). So I guess she has the sense of when she has to go potty even at night. Let your daughter have a little bit of rein. It sounds like you are following her lead and continue to do so, unless of course she backslides. Then calmly retrace your steps and wait for her to be ready again. Congrats!! It is so exciting to get rid of diapers once and for all (well, with one kid anyway...we have two more in them right now!)

We even went to a movie once in a (great!) while -- Dad and Mother only had to pay 45 cents each for admission, if we got there before the prices changed at 6 o-clock (to 65 cents!) My ticket cost only 17 cents! A big attraction at the movie theater was a game called Ten-O-Win. Between the two movies (in black and white, for sure) the house lights would come up, and one of the uniformed ushers would pull the Ten-O-Win machine onto the theater stage. It was a big wheel with two clock-like ';hands.'; The theater manager would spin one hand clockwise, and the other hand counter clockwise. I'd say when they get to high school because they should be behaving more responsibly by then. Everyone matures at different rates of course and just because mom or dad stops telling them when to do those things, does not mean that they wont need help/ instructions some of the time. Growing up is scary for the child/teen and for the mom/dad. I might suggest buying them an alarm clock for waking up in the morning, it's always helped me and it's nice to wake up to your favorite radio station in the morning. Good luck!

Some people believe that when their children are still living at their parent's home, even when they are adults, the parents have the right to monitor their way of life.
If this is your case, try to do your homework before being asked, to keep your bedroom clean, to take a shower, etc, until they get to trust you more.

The parents should remain the parents until the child is ready to leave and pay for their own rent, apartment, food, clothing, bills, etc. As long as you live in your parent's home and depend on your parents for your food, clothing, bills, etc...then you need to abide by the rules and obey your parents. The least you can show them is respect. They shouldn't have to tell you to do your homework, wake you up, tell you to take a shower or remind you to clean your room. With all that they do and provide for you, you should be able to do chores on your own without being told.

I request you also think about logics in support of idol worship of God and remove the misconceptions, half truths etc spread by ';quarter sensed worshippers';.
One more fact, these quarter sensed worshippers propogate God's worship through one sense only (i.e. hear sense). that is why today in the world we can just hear goodness everywhere . We dont see , taste, smell ,touch goodness in the world.
If we worship %26amp; feel about God through all senses, then God will send his all blessings to us.
Even non believers feel about God on viewing idols of God ,though in negative way.
You see Eight Handed form is beautiful small representation of God's manifestation in the form of Apera Parakrity( eight type i.e. earth, water, fire ,air ,sky, mind ,intelligence and sense of feeling separate from universe) and Pera Prakrity ( spritual energy i.e. innumerable living entities). Here eight hands represent apera prakrity and lion represents pera prakrity.
Kindly ..... Please... one should never talk bad against worshipping God through idols . In this way one should not invite wrath of God and then long lasting hell.

We Christians go by the Bible. It tells me that idols are only wood and stone. They can't think, hear, speak, or do anything for people. We are not to make any graven images, bow down, or worship them. We are to worship the Lord God alone. ';Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.'; ';I am the Lord and beside me there is no savior.'; ';I am the Lord. My glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.'; I believe the God of Israel is the only one.
With so many gods, where do Hindus loyalties lie? Which god or gods do you serve? What happens if you serve one and not another? Does the other god get jealous and do something to you? In my personal life, I've prayed to God and always got help. I've proved him over and over. Go do some non-Evangelical reading before you type more on the subject of idol worship. Hindus don't worship the image before them, we pray to God using the idol only as a way to focus our minds.
Our loyalties lie with the omnipotent and impersonal being you only know as God. Our God does not have fits of rage or favor one group of people over another. Our God does not get jealous like yours does. Our God knows that people will not accept one man as the savior of mankind, no matter how pious of a life he lived.
I'm tired of the brainless banter of so many Evangelical Christians. You can say these things but when you come against someone who knows what they're talking about you have no choice but to keep going back to the points that have already been proven wrong.
1:-We Hindus feel devotion to God on hearing word names like ';OM , Parmatma , Par Brahm ';, etc.
2:- We feel devotion to God on seeing visuals ( images) like '; Three Eyed , Four Handed , Eight Handed, Glow of Sun %26amp; Fire ';.
3:- We feel devotion to God with the smell %26amp; taste of Sacred Prasad ( eatable).
4:- We feel devotion to God with the touch of Holy River while having holy dip in it .
You must be aware that both sound and light energy emanating from certain source like an object , vocal chord or an instrument create sensation in our ear and eye respectively and create inner feelings .
With certain specific sound names and visuals these feelings may be towards God , then why oppose images from idols ?

How long does your body go through a nightmare after stopping birth control?
I just don't know what to do. In October I stopped using birth control and I had been using it for 3 years. I got on it for irregular cycles and acne. Three months after I got off it, everything was fine. My cycles were still coming on time, and I only a few pimples. But after those three months my things just went down hill. Recently I have been trying to stop my out of control acne. Every time I get the pimples down, more pop up and stay on my face for a long time. It's those cystic ones too that don't dry out no matter what u put on it. I've tried everything: lemon juice, 100% aloe vera, and am down to just using natural African Black Soap and Shea Butter, and that worked for about a week but now it's as if I don't even use the stuff anymore. I haven't had my cycle in four months since those 3 months it came regularly prior to me getting off the pill, and the scars from this acne on my face with more still coming just dulls my real skin tone. Has anyone gone through this? I just don't know what else to do. I've tried everything. I eat healthy, I drink water, I take my vitamins, nothing is working. Even my hair comes out easily when I come it. I figure if my cycle would just go ahead and come, maybe my acne will slow down and start clearing up, because it could be connected (am I right or wrong?) Can anyone help? this is embarrassing and I'm tired of trying to cover it with makeup every blue moon if I decide to go out, when my face is so bad that it doesn't even hide it anyway. *smh*Birds yes loans
